Dies ist die Controllerplatine auf Basis des P89LPC922 für ein REG 2TE Gehäuse.

Die Spannungsversorgung erfolgt über einen Schaltregler vom Typ MC34063 der im Gegensatz zum früher verwendeten Linearregler LM317 keinerlei Wärme mehr produziert. Ausserdem konnte die Stromaufnahme vom Bus auf nahezu 5mA reduziert werden. Pro leuchtender LED kommt nochmal knapp ein mA dazu.

Neben dem bekannten ISP Stecker befindet sich auf dem Board noch ein Anschluss für 4 LEDs in der Gehäusefront und eine 9-polige Stiftleiste zum Anschluss an ein Applikationsboard.

Neu ist auch, daß der Programmiertaster sowie die dazugehörige LED mit auf dem Board sind.

This is the controller board based on the P89LPC922 for a DIN-rail housing.

The power supply is done with a switching regulator MC34063. Compared to the earlier used linear regulator LM317 this one doesn't produce any heat any more. In addition to that the current taken from the bus was reduced to nearly 5mA. Per LED there hast to be added a bit less than 1mA.

Beside the known ISP connector there is another one to connect 4 LEDs for the frontpanel. A third connector connects to the application board.

It's also new, that the program button and the corresponding LED is sitting on the same board.
